CYG 2011: Cultural day in pictures

by isleofman.com 14th September 2011

ATHLETES from 63 nations of the Commonwealth were able to see some of the Island's best bits on Monday.

Following the conclusion of the Commonwealth Youth Games sporting events, athletes were treated to a cultural day in Castletown.

They travelled to the ancient capital on the steam railway before taking part in a number of activities in Castle Rushen.

Sadly a planned tin bath championship and motorcycle stunt performance had to be cancelled due to the strong winds.
