Road maintenance concerns in Garff

by isleofman.com 13th September 2011

Local issues such as potholes and hedge trimming may seem minor, but are important to the rural community of Garff, according to Laxey commissioner Simon Haddack.

He says national concerns, including the economy and planning, are also high on the agenda, but some constituents feel road maintenance has been neglected (listen to audio file below):

The two candidates in the contituency, Nigel Dobson (Liberal Vannin) and Steve Rodan, have been taking part in Manx Radio's constituency debate this evening (Tuesday), ahead of the general election on September 29.

The hour-long, live debate is being repeated tomorrow, on FM, from 8.05am.
