by isleofman.com 12th September 2011

THE Steam Packet Company has cancelled all of its sailings to and from the Isle of Man this morning.

Due to the severe gales which are affecting the Island sailings to and from Liverpool and Heysham have been cancelled.

A decision will be made later this morning as to whether the sailings this afternoon will go ahead.

Ronaldsway Met Office say wind speeds could reach 50 to 60 miles per hour today but will gradually ease to between 25 to 30 miles per hour tonight.

Any passengers affected by the cancellations are asked to contact the reservations team at the company on 01624 661661.
