by isleofman.com 10th September 2011

THE chance to see how a working farm operates, together with wildlife walks, beekeeping, a hog roast and much more happens tomorrow (Sunday) at Smeale Farm in Bride.

The family event takes place between 11am and 5pm, come rain or shine, and it’s free admission with plenty of parking space.

Features include the chance to see farm animals and learn about traditional sheep and cereal farming

There’s also apple pressing, bread and cake making demonstrations and tours of the farm itself, plus wildlife walks to learn about the abundance of animals and birds which live in the Bride area.

The route to Smeale Farm is signposted from Andreas roundabout and can be found on the coast road between Bride village and Andreas.
