Poppy Fund to benefit from 90th anniversary show

A salute in music, drama and poetry will mark the 90th anniversary of the Royal British Legion this evening (Saturday).

'Shoulder to Shoulder' will be staged by the Legion Players at St George's Church in Douglas, from 7.30pm.

Organiser Mervin Stokes says the show will consist of a miscellany of sketches, music and film (listen to audio file below):

Proceeds from this evening's event will go to the Isle of Man Poppy Fund.
