Success for Island in pool

There's been some early success in the swimming pool for the Isle of Man at the Commonwealth Youth Games.

Grant Halsall has qualified for the final of the men's 200 metre backstroke and Charlotte Atkinson is in the final of the women's event.

Halsall came third in his heat this morning (Friday) with a time of one minute 59.35 seconds.

Grant told Manx Radio he was pleased with the result following a recent spate of injury and illness:
