A 37 year-old man who'd been missing since the beginning of the week has been found safe and well.

John Douglas Kirkland disappeared from his Douglas address on Monday morning.

Police launched an appeal for his whereabouts yesterday but located him this morning (Friday).

The public's being thanked for its help.
