by isleofman.com 9th September 2011

THE public have been asked for help in locating a 37 year old man who has been reported missing from home.

Police are appealing for information to the whereabouts of John Douglas Kirkland who was last seen at 11am on Monday.

He is described as being of slim build, approximately five feet six inches tall with short mousy blonde receding hair.

It is possible that he is wearing smart black shoes, dark blue jeans, a blue coloured jumper and black leather bomber style jacket.

Mr Kirkland was living in the Douglas area but has links to the south of the Island.

The police and the family of Mr Kirkland are urging him, or anyone with any knowledge of where he is, to contact police to confirm that he is safe and well.

Anyone with information should contact Police Headquarters on 01624 631212.
