Fire crews called to park after climbing frame incident

by isleofman.com 6th September 2011

A FIRE crew from Douglas was called to Onchan Park yesterday afternoon after reports that a child was stuck in a climbing frame.

One fire engine and an enhanced rescue vehicle attended the park at around 2.53pm.

Upon arrival they found that the child was not in discomfort and just required some gentle assistance and help with exiting the climbing frame.

A spokesperson for Isle of Man Fire and Rescue said the child was "able to put the incident down to experience" and continued to enjoy the park facilities.
