POLICE are appealing for information after damage was caused to two boats at the Peel Marina and dry boat yard.

A small anchor was stolen from one of the damaged boats and the police said "considerable unnecessary damage has been caused to another boat in the marina".

The incidents happened between Tuesday (August 30) and Thursday (September 1).

PC Stephen Giddins from the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team is urging boat owners to be vigilant and to contact police if they see any suspicious activity.
