Green jersey centrepiece at sporting exhibition

The green jersey which Mark Cavendish wore as he won the final stage of this year's Tour de France is among the items on display in an exhibition at the Manx Museum in Douglas from today (Saturday).

'Our Sporting Life' celebrates the Island's most successful sports stars, and features medals and memorabilia, both historical and modern, as well as interactive challenges.

Curator Katie King has no doubt which exhibit is likely to attract the most attention:
