Adam Easton inquest opened and adjourned

An inquest has heard a 71-year-old Manx Grand Prix competitor died from multiple injuries when he crashed on Wednesday morning.

Adam Barnes Easton, from Musselburgh in Scotland, came off at Lambfell near Cronk-y-Voddy during the 500cc Classic race.

The retired police officer and taxi driver was taken to Noble's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Coroner of inquests Jayne Hughes adjourned the hearing to a date to be fixed, pending further enquiries.
