A Manx Grand Prix newcomer died from multiple injuries after crashing during Monday's Junior race, an inquest heard today (Thursday).
Twenty-year-old Wayne David Hamilton, from Northern Ireland, came off his machine at the13th Milestone on the third lap.
Paramedics were unable to resuscitate him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The mechanic from Portadown won the Newcomers A race on Saturday and was in third place at the time of the incident.
Coroner Jayne Hughes adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.
