Wind orchestra seeks new members

If you play a wind, brass or percussion instrument, or just want to help raise funds, the Isle of Man Wind Orchestra wants to hear from you!

To mark the start of its 15th year, it's holding an open night at the Garrison wine bar in Castletown from 7.30pm today (Thursday).

Members and friends of the orchestra will be on hand to answer any questions.

Chairman Michael Morrison says people of all ages are welcome, with membership ranging from teenagers to players in their 80s:
