A 36-year-old man has been remanded in custody as he awaits trial for intimidating witnesses.
Craig Alan Varey, whose address was given as the Isle of Man's prison in Jurby, is also charged with perverting the course of justice.
Both offences were allegedly committed in March.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes committed Mr Varey to a Court of General Gaol Delivery.
