Wayne Hamilton, from Portadown in Northern Ireland, was lying in third place when the incident happened at the 13th Milestone.
Wayne, who was 20 and a single man, made his road racing debut at the Bush Road Races in 2009, where he won the Junior Support Race, setting a lap record. He had other wins in his debut season, and achived victories at the Southern 100 in 2010 and 2011. Wayne was also first in the Dundrod 150 Supertwin earlier this month.
