Millers make it four out of four

Union Mills made it four wins out of four in JCK Division Two on Saturday.

Alexander Suckling and David Thomenny both hit two and there were goals for Steven Quine, Gareth Logan and Paul Blair in a 7-0 home success against Malew.

Douglas Royal, another team tipped to challenge for promotion, were 3-1 winners at Colby, for whom Tom Ward found the net.

Michael edged a seven goal thriller at Pulrose, while on the neighbouring pitch, Steve Betteridge (two) Andrew Chadwick and Liam Leece were among the scorers as Foxdale won 5-2 at the Police.

Mark Walmsley scored four as Onchan had too much for Douglas and District in a 7-0 win.

A David Kinrade penalty and goals from player-manager Paul Ramsden and Geoff Murphy fired Braddan to their first victory of the campaign with a 3-0 victory at Ronaldsway.
