by isleofman.com 27th August 2011

Young people who can vote for the first time in next month's House of Keys general election are being offered advice today (Saturday).

Cafe Laare, the Department of Education and Children's youth cafe in Douglas, is hosting an informal information session for first-time voters.

'Vote Right' is designed to help them make informed decisions and answer any questions they may have ahead of the election.

Young people can pop into the facility, in Lord Street, anytime from 1.30pm.

Polling day is Thursday, September 29.
