Jurby ready for motorcycle invasion

by isleofman.com 26th August 2011

The Festival of Jurby takes over the old airfield at the village on Sunday.

It's organised by the Isle of Man branch of the Vintage Motorcycle Club, and last year's all day event attracted over 12,000 visitors.

There are trade stands, displays, the chance to meet TT and Grand Prix riders past and present, and parades of vintage bikes.

Club treasurer Rupert Murden says its going to be a packed day (listen to audio file below):

The gates open at 10am, admission is free and Manx Radio will be broadcasting live from the event.
