Outgoing MHK explains workings of government

by isleofman.com 26th August 2011

A candidate seeking re-election in Peel says government bureacracy needs to be cut down.

Tim Crookall was MHK for the constituency from 2006 to 2011 and says it was an honour and privilege to serve the town and the Isle of Man.

Mr Crookall has worked in a number of departments and has responsibility for water and sewage.

He says it's easy to criticise government for being too slow to react, until you know how it works (listen to audio file below):

There are four other candidates in Peel, local commissioners Roger Gimbert and Ray Harmer, dentist Leslie Hanson and businessman Arran Kaighin.
