Golf suffers broken window after collision with van

POLICE are appealing for information after a road traffic collision which left a car with a smashed window and wing mirror.

 

The collision took place on Mount Rule road in Marown on Tuesday just after 7.30am.

 

A small red van, of an unknown make and model, collided with a blue Volkswagen Golf which was travelling in the opposite direction.

 

The Golf sustained a smashed driver's side window and wing mirror and the red van failed to stop at the scene.

 

Police are appealing for help in tracing the driver of the van or anyone who may have witnessed the collision.

 

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Andy Beirne at Peel Police Station on 01624 631551.
