Paddy's Fish of the Week - Hot smoked Cajun and hot smoked salmon

by isleofman.com 29th August 2011

THIS week Paddy's has chosen hot smoked Cajun and hot smoked salmon as the Fish of the Week.

All about the salmon…

A variation on the smoked salmon theme – brined locally in sugar and salt then brushed with a blend of herbs, sugar, honey and rum before being smoked at 80 degrees to give a fantastic flavour and succulent texture.

Or why not try the hot smoked salmon which has been brushed with additional Cajun spices to give it more of a kick?

If you would like any more tips or advice on how to cook salmon visit Paddy's fish counter in Shoprite, Victoria Road in Douglas.

Until Sunday, September 4, hot smoked Cajun and hot smoked salmon will be £7.18 per lb. There will also be a sampling session at the Paddy's counter this Saturday.
