Damp roads keep speeds down

by isleofman.com 25th August 2011

Damp conditions led to much slower times during the practice session for the Manx Grand Prix yesterday (Thursday) evening.

The first machines got away from the grandstand slightly later than scheduled, at 6.30, and at the end of the session Chris Kinley gave this summary of the action (listen to audio file below):

Roads close at 6pm today for the final evening practice session at this year's meeting, although another is due to take place after racing tomorrow.
