A general election candidate in East Douglas says the Isle of Man can expect some pain when it comes to tax.
John Karran, 62, is a chef who describes his politics as 'just left of centre'.
If he is successful next month, he says his priority would be to look after the most vulnerable people in society, who are likely to find the next few years difficult.
