The Isle of Man still has a healthy population of hedgehogs, despite a recent study showing the popular garden visitor is among the top ten most endangered species in Britain.
The list, compiled for the television channel Eden, also included the cuckoo and the brown hare.
Director of the Manx Wildlife Trust Duncan Bridges says some species are under threat on the Island, including the Manx shearwater and corncrake, but hedgehog numbers are still fairly good:
