Man in court on heroin charge

A Castletown man accused of importing ?28,000 worth of heroin into the Isle of Man is due in court this morning (Wednesday).

The man, who isn't being named ahead of his court appearance, was charged yesterday afternoon.

The 41-year-old was arrested after a drug raid on the Island, a week ago.

A 35-year-old man from Liverpool was remanded to the Island's prison in Jurby, after appearing in court at the weekend in connection with the same raid.
