A general election candidate believes her background in teaching, business and languages would stand her in good stead for government.
Geraldine O'Neill, who is contesting the two-seat constituency of East Douglas, was born in the Isle of Man and educated in Ireland.
She returned to Manx shores 14 years ago and has since worked in secondary schools, now specialising in teaching English as a second language.
