A helping hand from the IBS

by isleofman.com 23rd August 2011

The Isle of Man Business School has been helping A-level students going through the university clearing process who are looking to undertake business or finance related degrees.

As well as visiting the five local secondary schools, representatives were in the Strand Shopping Centre at the weekend.

With 185,000 students chasing 29,000 places in clearing it has been a very competitive process this year.

Marketing manager for the IBS Mike Mercer said the weekend initiative went well and he hoped the IBS managed to help all those looking for places in clearing, as well as people looking to gain professional qualifications.

An open day will be held at the Nunnery on September 6, between 12 noon and 2pm.

Students looking to study business, finance or banking who haven't yet accepted either their first or second choice universities can email enquiries@ibs.ac.im or ring the IBS on 693700.
