TWO boats moored in Port Erin Harbour were damaged in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police are investigating after items from the boats were thrown into the sea and black paint was poured over them at around 5am.
They are trying to trace four young males who were seen in the area at the time. Two of the males were dressed in black, one was wearing a blue, possibly denim, jacket and the other a grey top.
It is highly likely that the people responsible for this act of criminal damage will have had paint on their footwear and clothing as footprints were found in the paint.
