'Make decisions for right reasons', says candidate

by isleofman.com 23rd August 2011

The last government made too many decisions to impress constituents, rather than considering what was best for the Isle of Man as a nation.

That's the view of hotelier Theo Fleurbaay, who is standing for election in the two-seat constituency of North Douglas.

Mr Fleurbaay says the next few years will be challenging ones for the Island, and difficult steps will need to be taken.

On Manx Radio, he said MHKs shouldn't make choices just to score points (listen to audio file below):

Four candidates are contesting the two-seats in North Douglas, with Mr Fleurbaay up against outgoing MHKs Bill Henderson and John Houghton, and Liberal Vannin candidate Peter Hill.
