Police have arrested two men in connection with the seizure of heroin with a street value of ?28,000.
A 35-year-old man from the Liverpool area has been charged with importing the Class A drug into the Isle of Man and is due in court at 10am tomorrow (Saturday).
A 41-year-old man from the south of the Island remains under arrest and is helping police with their enquires.
Detective Inspector Steve Maddocks says the seizure of such a significant amount of drugs will reduce potential harm to Isle of Man residents.
The two men were arrested in Castletown on Wednesday.
