A general election candidate in the constituency of Rushen believes he is the right man for the job, given the difficult challenges the new administration will face.
Dr John Orme served as an MHK for the constituency between 1985 and 1991, when he was a member of the then Department of Highways, Ports and Properties.

There are currently five candidates for the three seats in Rushen, with outgoing MHKs Phil Gawne, Quntin Gill and Juan Watterson facing challenges from John Orme, Laurence Skelly.
