Police confirm surrender of nightclub licences

by isleofman.com 18th August 2011

Time has been called on two night spots in Douglas.

Alcohol licences for Guys and Dolls and Danny's Bar were suspended last month, after a series of incidents.

A licence hearing was scheduled for today (Thursday), but police say the company behind the nightclubs decided not to contest the matters, and surrendered the licences.

It's understood the directors of the operation have resigned.

Police say the premises operated by Gradan Limited are now closed.
