Education chiefs assessing Island's performance

The future of more than 400 Manx students will be a little clearer, now A-level results are known at secondary schools around the Isle of Man.

Many have already secured university places, but with stiff competition this year, others are still waiting for the all-important phone call.

The Department of Education and Children will give an overall appraisal of how the Island has performed later today (Thursday), but these students at Castle Rushen Rushen High were happy with their results:
