THE managing director of Caledonian Trust IOM Limited has joined the board of the Association of Corporate Service Providers.

Sandra Georgeson has worked in the Island's corporate and trust services industry for 17 years.

She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and a qualified trust and estate practitioner and began her career at KPMG before taking a position in a law firm and then as the head of corporate services at Atlantic Corporate Managers.

This was merged with Caledonian and Sandra was appointed to the board of its Isle of Man trust operation in May 2006.

Philip Drearden, the chairman of the Association of Corporate Service Providers said: "I am pleased to welcome Sandra to the board. Her extensive specialist knowledge and practical experience of the Island's corporate and trust services sector will strengthen the board and lend valuable support to the association as it works to voice its views to government and regulatory bodies in what are challenging times for the industry."
