SKANCO has announced the appointment of five new staff members.

It is the third set of appointments announced by the company in less than six months.

Nuno Sousa, Jonathan Price and Peter Hadfield have joined the engineers' team and Matthew Brand and Sarah Dodsworth have joined the sales support team.

David Butterworth, managing director of Skanco, said: "All of these new faces are part of our expansion and restructuring in the wake of winning the government contract earlier this year.

"However all of the new staff are available to private clients and we firmly believe that all of our clients will benefit from the wider range of talent and skills we now have available.

"It's great having fresh input and I am glad to see that all of our new recruits are integrating very quickly, picking up our work methods and reflecting the company’s passion for strong customer service."

Nuno holds a National Diploma for IT Practitioners and a BSc Hons in Computer Science and joins alongside Peter Hadfield who has 15 years experience in airline maintenance support. Jonathan Price has taken up the position of technical apprentice and is about to start his HNC in Computing at the Isle of Man College.

Matthew has a BTEC National Certificate in networking and has joined the sales support team to begin a career in IT alongside Sarah.
