TT legend John McGuinness has confirmed he will appear at this year's Manx Grand Prix Festival.

The 'Morecombe Missile' will host a VIP hospitality experience on the final race day – Friday, September 2.

He will also compete on a closed road parade lap of the Mountain Course between the Senior Manx Grand Prix and Classic Superbike races.

The Honda Fireblade machine which McGuinness rode to victory in the Dainese Superbike and Pokerstars Senior TT Races will be on display in the VIP Club throughout the final race day.

Speaking ahead of the event McGuinness said: "Things are always very hectic at the TT Races so I'm looking forward to spending some time on the Isle of Man without the pressure of racing. It will be a good chance to meet people and talk to fans.

"It is a real honour to be invited to do a solo parade lap. I've done many as part of anniversary celebrations but it will be extra special to go round the mountain course on my own."

VIP hospitality packages include all day access to the hospitality suite including a complimentary bar, breakfast and lunch. Guests will also get reserved grandstand seating and a special souvenir pack which includes official merchandise, programme and race guide.

Packages are available from Regency Travel and are priced at £175 plus VAT. They can also be bought online at www.dukevideo.com. Tickets can be purchased individually or booked in tables of eight.

John McGuinness and Keith Amor will also be at the paddock on Saturday, August 27 to sign autographs and meet fans and will appear at the YMCC’s Festival of Jurby on Sunday, August 28.
