Peel Lifeboat helped by local residents

by isleofman.com 9th August 2011

KIND hearted members of the public have been busy raising money for Peel Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

Members of Peel Golf Club recently hosted the RNLI Cup and donated £500 to the Peel branch of the lifesaving charity.

Peel accountant Paul Quayle raised £254 by donating a large photograph of Peel Castle which was auctioned in aid of the lifeboat station.

And a group of scouts visiting the Isle of Man presented station mechanic Paul Cain with a cheque for £50 to assist in the work of the RNLI.
