Appeal for witnesses to three vehicle collision

THREE vehicles sustained serious damage on Sunday following a road traffic collision on Ballahutchin Hill.

 

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, which took place at around 7.35pm, to come forward.

 

The vehicles - a Renault Scenic, a Ford Fiesta and a Peugeot camper van - were travelling in the Douglas bound carriageway between Union Mills and Glen Vine.

 

One person was taken to hospital with slight injuries but has since been released.

 

Anyone with information on the collision is asked to contact PC Damon Carberry or PC Jon Penman at Lord Street Police Station on 01624 631212.
