Airline boss backs airport privatisation idea

The chairman of the airline that carries the 'Manx' name believes there would be 'a lot of benefits' in privatising the Isle of Man's airport.

Noel Hayes, of Manx2.com, has been talking about the idea, after it was suggested by one of the candidates in next month's general election.

Mr Hayes says the private sector could be encouraged to invest in the infrastucture at Ronaldsway, and thereby keep up the high standards there:
