A CHARITY afternoon tea event will take place later this month to raise money for projects that support the needy in Zimbabwe.
It will be held on Saturday, August 27 between 2.30pm and 4.30pm at the Old School Hall in St Marks.
There will be a bring-and-buy table for preserves and bric-a-brac with proceeds going to various projects including the work of Christian Aid and other charities serving the elderly, the blind and AIDS sufferers and orphans.
