The horse tramway on Douglas promenade is celebrating its 135th anniversary today (Sunday) with a cavalcade of historic trams.
The service was launched to take advantage of the Island's booming tourist trade in Victorian times and is now run by Douglas Council.
A parade of five trams sets off from the Derby Castle end of the prom at 2pm and there's a memorabilia display in the Strathallan Suite.
Children will receive a small gift and have the chance to meet horses which will be dressed for the occasion.
