Which teams can afford Cav?

Mark Cavendish's team for 2012 won't be known until at least next week.

With HTC Highroad breaking up at the end of the current campaign, the rumour mill is working overtime.

A move to Team Sky seems to be the most likely outcome, although BBC Sport is reporting that is by no means a formality.

The 'Manx Missile' has confirmed he has spoken to several outfits and says he has made up his mind, but another possibility being mentioned is the new Australian team Green Edge.

Former Isle of Man cycling professional Steve Joughin says Cav should take advantage while he is in a position to do so:
