POLICE say they are keen to identify a group of at least three males following a spate of thefts from unlocked cars in Peel.
The youths - all in their late teens - were seen walking in the Kerroo Coar area at 2am on Thursday. They were walking towards Rheast Bridson in the direction of the Reayrt ny Cronk estate.
Thieves have stolen items including money and mobile phones in a series of thefts from unlocked cars parked in Peel in the last few days.
There have been numerous instances where vehicles have been entered overnight in the area of Kerroo Coar, Rheast Bridson and the Reayrt ny Cronk estates.
During the same time a vending machine at the Peel camp site was been tipped over and the rear of the unit damaged.
The stolen property includes mobile phones, sat nav systems, wallets, cheque books, keys and the fronts of car stereo systems.
A number of items of stolen property have also been found on the ground in the estates and have also turned up in other vehicles.
Police said in a new statement issued today (Friday) that bottles of perfume and aftershave were found smashed on the road in the Kerroo Coar and Reayrt ny Cronk estates.
Sixty eggs were also taken from a vehicle and smashed on the road.
Police said it is possible the offender or offenders may have picked up traces of the scents or egg residue on their hands or clothing.
