MOX closure a step in the right direction

The Isle of Man branch of Friends of the Earth is welcoming the closure of part of Sellafield.

Yesterday (Wednesday), it emerged the MOX plant, which reprocesses nuclear fuel, is to cease work.

The United Kingdom's Nuclear Decommissioning Agency say the move follows the Fukushima nuclear incident in Japan.

Phil Corlett of Friends of the Earth says his organisation would like to see an end to all nuclear power:
