Lighthouse board vessel in Manx waters

by isleofman.com 3rd August 2011

The Northern Lighthouse Board's ship Pharos is paying a visit to the Isle of Man.

The 84 metre vessel entered service in 2007 and is used to access and supply some of the most remote offshore lighthouses in the board's operational area.

They include facilities in Scotland, and Chicken Rock off the Calf of Man.

Pharos will be in Manx waters until Friday.
