by isleofman.com 2nd August 2011

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a break-in and acts of vandalism at Summerhill Quarry, Douglas.

It is believed three people broke a window and entered one of the buildings and once inside caused damage to the property.

The offences happened between Thursday, July 21 and Friday, July 29.

Police have expressed their concerns for 'anyone who has thoughts of entering the site and its buildings due to the high level of risk associated with the area'.

They said there are 'several areas where serious injuries could be caused' and are advising people to stay away.

Anyone with any information should contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
