Major roadworks start in the south

by isleofman.com 1st August 2011

Major refurbishment work gets underway on Victoria Road in Castletown this morning.

The busy route will undergo strengthening, drainage and resurfacing work, which should take eight weeks to complete.

Temporary traffic lights will be operating 24 hours a day so delays are likely.

Parking on Victoria Road will be suspended for the duration, but all businesses, the nursing home and the doctor’s surgery will stay open.
