A local baby care store is offering new parents access to expert advice.
On the last Friday of every month there'll be a midwife in Mothercare in the Strand Shopping Centre for two hours.
Mums and dads will be able to walk in and discuss any problems about the care of their baby.
Shop manager Chrissy Carter says parents often have worries but don't want to feel they're causing a fuss by ringing the Jane Crookall.
She says this initiative will give them direct access to a professional in a friendly setting.
