People who had Isle of Man Bay Festival tickets and were expecting to get their refunds tomorrow (Friday) are likely to be disappointed.
Organiser Jonathan Irving has issued a press release once again apologising for cancelling the event - but once again stressing there was no other choice given the poor demand for tickets.
He goes on to talk about the need for all festivals to be prepaid and the Bay Festival being 'no exception'.
Mr Irving says 'asset disposals' have proved difficult in the current economic climate, adding that they have been working hard with all the ticket outlets to finalise the refund.
He says they hope to be in a position to announce details to ticket holders very soon.
Mr Irving acknowledges that some people who had tickets haven't waited and have already got a refund from their card providers.
He concludes by thanking everyone who did support the festival for their continuing understanding.
